GPR can be a helpful tool in archaeology. It allows to do quick survey of large areas before excavations.more details>
The GPR can be used to survey sites with a large number of underground objects.more details>
Cart-36 handcart allows a single operator to quickly carry out examination of large areas. With Cart-36 GPR measurements are made easier and faster. The cart has durable and reliable design, universal mounting for notebook, 12 inch wheels, built-in odometer. Cart-36 has a minimum size when folded.more details>
When using technology Telbin significantly increased signal/noise ratio and, therefore, increased probing depth. The rate of sounding remains high.more details>
GPR can be applied in ice and snow structure examinations, the measurement of their thickness and find cavities inside them.
One interesting example: our GPR was used by scientists while ice structure examination in Antarctica. They successfully mapped ice layers, measured the thickness of ice, and found heterogeneities in it.
Another possible application of GPR is a snow structure assessment in mountains. The upper layer can have different thickness, below that can be both ice and crumbly snow. Such a structure can be quite dangerous for people. GPR can pinpoint potential dangerous areas of snow avalanche descending.
On these dangerous zones GPR can be used contactless (make sounding above the surface of ice and snow).
Please see below the example of the profile of snow cover.
